MONDAY, APRIL 11th, 2022 @ Renton Technical College CAFETERIA

What a GREAT turn out for the Bite of the Salmon competition. We had over one hundred guest members, family, and friends. 

Thank you to all the apprentices, students and professionals who participated in our “Bite of the Salmon” We appreciate your challenging work and dedication to your craft. We got to sample a variety of creative bites. It was a delicious night out.

Salmon Cook-Off Event Details

Who can compete:

15 teams total (5 local restaurant teams and 10 Culinary Arts students and Professional Chefs)

Competition rules:

Amuse size bites (2 bite portions utilizing 6.5 pounds of salmon fillet)

Judging based on 3 categories:

Flavor/Taste, Technique and Presentation

Judged by:

Members choice voting and Panel of Culinary Judges

Awards and Prizes:

Awards and Prizes for top scores in each category along with bragging rights!
