Chef Tin Nguyen

The WSCA presented the 2016 “Chef of the Year” award to Chef Tin Nguyen. Chef Tin Nguyen has more than 30 years experience in professional kitchens, and his awards include two American Culinary Federation Gold Medals. He holds a degree in culinary arts from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I., and is a certified executive chef with the American Culinary Federation. Since 2008, Nguyen has overseen five restaurants and all the banquet services for the hotel and resort operations for the Clearwater Casino.

The Chef of the Year Award was given at the February 2017 Presidents Awards Dinner at the Hilton Seattle Airport and Conference Center. For more info on the dinner, pictures and other rewards given, click here…
